John joined Bluff Road Physiotherapy in 2005 having worked in sports physiotherapy, private practice and rehabilitation roles both in Aus and the UK after graduating in 1997 at Lincoln School of Health Sciences. His clinical interest and expertise include physiotherapy for vestibular/vertigo disorders, management of neck and head pain and treatment of the jaw or TMJ. 

John is GLA:D certified and runs the GLA:D program out of our gym collaboration at MedHP helping our community understand and manage their hip and knee osteoarthritis better. He is also well-versed in the McKenzie Approach to diagnosis and treatment of the neck and spine, the Watson Technique for cervicogenic headache and the Jull approach to cervical assessment and strengthening.

John's ongoing involvement with basketball at a domestic and rep level with his 3 boys gives him a special interest in treating and rehabilitating basketball related injuries. Along with spending time with his family and a passion for the natural environment, John enjoys escaping to his South Gippsland bush block for rest, relaxation and a fair amount of hard labour.
