James completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne in 2019 and then graduated from Bond University in Gold Coast with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. During his post graduate degree, he completed over 1200 hours of clinical placement. This included placements with the Bond University rugby team across a full season, musculoskeletal outpatients at Gold Coast University Hospital and a private practice.

James is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and has a special interest in pain science, treating tendinopathies and sporting injuries. James is a strong believer in holistic, client centred care through manual therapy, advice and education and client-specific exercise prescription. James likes to go for runs and play tennis in his spare time.
