Chris Raphael

Physiotherapist

Chris completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Monash University, graduating with honours in 2019. His studies saw him gain a breadth of exposure to a multitude of settings, including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy.
During this time, Chris also worked with both high level and amateur level football, basketball and soccer teams; adding to his passion and knowledge of sport-related injuries and rehabilitation. This saw him work alongside many other experienced physiotherapists and allowed him to further increase his clinical knowledge and skillset.
Being a keen basketball player and gym-goer, Chris has a strong interest in the lower limb, shoulder and return to sport/activity rehabilitation, while simultaneously keeping up to date with new research and evidence-based practices.

John Humphrey

John graduated in 1997 and has worked in both private practice and orthopaedic outpatient clinics here and in the UK. His special interests include diagnosis and treatment of neck, head and jaw pain and vestibular disorders. John is also well-versed in the McKenzie Approach to diagnosing and treat the neck and spine.

John enjoys playing basketball in the Bluff Road Physio team, and also has special interest in treating basketball and rowing athletes.

David’s main area of interest is in sports injury management. His qualifications in physiotherapy, exercise science, and clinical pilates offers the injured athlete a comprehensive approach to injury prevention and rehabilitation. In addition David is proficient in disorders of the vestibular system, with particular interest in vertigo (dizziness) concerns, as well as assisting patients with chronic complaints via the use of a new movement analysis system Vimove.

Will Brownlee

Will has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Monash University, and has been employed in both the private and public sectors. He has experience treating a wide range of conditions from chronic pain, through to post surgical patients and acute sports injuries. He is a member of the local community and is actively involved with the Hampton Rovers Football Club.

Will is skilled in treating vertigo (dizziness) conditions, and has a particular interest in the assessment and rehabilitation of spinal physiotherapy, from neck pain and headaches through to low back pain. He is also trained in the instruction of Clinical Pilates and the use of DorsaVi movement analyses equipment, both of which are useful adjuncts to the treatment of back pain.

Chloe Cox

Chloe completed her Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy degree in Auckland New Zealand. Here she gained experience working in both hospital settings and private practice in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne in 2014.  Chloe’s specialist area is Women’s Health and she has undertaken numerous courses through the Women’s Health Training Associates.

Chloe’s special interests within this are include postpartum care and return to activity as well as chronic pelvic pain concerns such as endometriosis, bladder pain syndrome and vaginismus.  Chloe is also qualified for pessary insertion and enjoys treating complex bladder/incontinence cases.  Chloe’s treatment centres on not only relieving symptoms, but preventing future injury/pain through treating underlying conditions.  In her spare Chloe enjoys playing Netball for the Bentleigh Netball Club, reading and running after a 3 year old!

Victoria graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2019, having attained both a Bachelor of Science, with Honours, and a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Her studies provided extensive experience across multiple settings, including the acute and subacute hospital system, oncology, chronic disease management, neurological rehabilitation and paediatrics.
Along the way, Victoria worked with sporting teams and families requiring paediatric therapy, adding to her knowledge and skill-base. She holds a strong understanding about the importance of health promotion and the value of staying active in ones everyday life, and she strives to empower her patients to adopt a similar mantra.
Being a keen runner and skier, her areas of interest include rehabilitating running and hip injuries, teaching clinical pilates, and addressing posture, fitness and exercise.

Sarah graduated in 1997 and has worked in community and public health roles in both Australia and the UK. Sarah has lived in Bayside for over 30 years and is well linked locally with a good knowledge of local resources for the Bayside, Kingston and Monash areas. Her areas of expertise include safety and functional assessment for people within the home.
